Members of the Fisher College baseball team where riding through White Marsh, MD, when their bus caught on fire on I-95 North around 11:30 a.m. on Sunday, April 16, White Marsh Volunteer Fire Company said on Facebook

No one was hurt and the team was brought to the fire station where they got to relax and enjoy some food as they waited for another bus to come and take them back to Boston.

“Instead of having them sit on the side of the road for the next four hours, we really wanted to make sure they were safe because of how dangerous 95 is,” White Marsh Volunteer Firefighter Xavier Owens told Boston25. “We brought them over to our station to hang out while they waited for their bus.”

The team was coming back from a four-game series against Montreat College in North Carolina, according to their schedule
